For Onahlee

How I long to see you,

Under the sing ring tree,

We’ll laugh and play, the day away,

Relive our past and be:

Full of joy and sunshine,

A song loud in our hearts,

From dawn to dusk, and dawn again,

Struck starry eyed by charts.

Today we’ll hike the forest,

Taste the grass that sours,

Among the trees, follow the breeze,

Identifying flowers.

And the meadow calls us,

With ribbons in our hair,

Among the trees, follow the breeze,

A game of truth or dare.

One last loving stanza,

Inked here for all to see,

A gift for no one person but-

To Onahlee… For Onahleee! To Onahlee~
